If you’ve already visited multiple doctors due to your pain or injury, and you haven’t achieved the long-term results you want, Dr. Pinkston and our team are ready to help using proven, non-invasive methods that utilize leading-edge techniques and a fully personalized approach. To get started and benefit from our unique form of care, all you have to do is schedule a consultation with us, and you can learn everything you need to know beforehand by reading through the page below. It’s short and will help you feel completely comfortable from the moment you walk through our doors. If you have any questions, be sure to give us a call!
Our goal is to exceed your expectations at every visit, and we do this by going out of our way to ensure you feel welcome, comfortable, and satisfied during each appointment. Dr. Pinkston and our staff will take the time to listen to your concerns, examine you thoroughly, and then outline your options. We’ll make sure you have all the information you need to make confident decisions about your care, and you’re invited to ask as many questions as you like. Depending on the treatment and scheduling, we may be able to provide a procedure during this initial appointment to help you start feeling better right away.
In order to keep our office running smoothly and on time, we ask that patients follow a few simple guidelines:
Please show up 15 minutes prior to a scheduled appointment to allow time for all necessary documents to be completed. This way, we can bring someone to the back without delay.
If a patient is late for an appointment, we will try to fit them in later that same day or reschedule, but we will not inconvenience other patients who have shown up on time.
We do accept walk-ins, but they will be seen only if time is available, and scheduled patients will always be our first priority.
Please note we will be accepting payment upfront when scheduling consultations.
We understand that sometimes, appointments need to be rescheduled or cancelled. We kindly request that you contact our office at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled time to do this so we can make it available to another patient.
Appointments can vary in length depending on a patient’s particular need, and we try to schedule plenty of time for everyone, but we occasionally run behind. When this occurs, we make sure that every patient receives all of the attention they deserve, even if we are a few minutes late.
Each appointment will focus on one primary complaint as opposed to multiple problems, as this allows us to better examine/treat a particular issue and keep our schedule consistent. If you have more than one complaint you would like Dr. Pinkston to address (like if your knee and elbow hurt), you may need to schedule another appointment so we can give each issue our full attention.
We want to make paying for your care as easy as possible, which is why we accept multiple forms of payment, including all major credit cards, cash, and Bitcoin*.
*To pay with Bitcoin, a patient will need to use an app on a phone or computer. They can scan a QR code to transfer from their crypto wallet to ours.
Discounts are available for bitcoin
Our practice currently does not participate in any insurance plans, and most of our procedures are not covered by traditional policies as well. We can generate a statement that you can submit to your health insurance company to request reimbursement for the services we provide. Our patients have access to flexible, low-to-no interest financing through Varidi, which allow someone to break up the cost of their care into smaller, budget-friendly installments with little to no interest. Please call our office for more information.
If you have a Health Spending Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA), it can be used to help pay for the services offered at Asheville Non-Surgical Orthopedics. For more information on how this works, be sure to reach out to our team!
To help your first appointment start without delay, please take a moment to fill out our patient forms, which you can download below and complete in the comfort of your home. Bring the forms with you to your appointment, and we’ll be able to check you in nice and fast.
