Why Did You Decide to Become a Physician?

Asheville neuromusculoskeletal physician James Pinkston D O

In his younger years, Dr. Pinkston took care of athletes as an athletic trainer. He found these interactions very rewarding, especially when he was able to help someone in his care return to the field or their desired activity following an injury. He also spent time working as a personal trainer, guiding his clients toward the right choices so that their quality of life would be permanently improved. Discovering these fulfilling pursuits inspired him to expand upon the services he was able to offer to those in need, and he decided to enter the medical field to learn more. The rest is history!
